In February 2016, Affinity, an Elbit Systems 50:50 joint venture with Kellog, Brown and Root (KBR), was awarded a UK military flight training contract. Revenue for the programme is expected to be £500 million over an 18 year period.
The Elbit Systems CEO stated, "The United Kingdom is one of Elbit Systems' primary markets. The award of the contract to deliver this key programme for the UK's armed forces is a significant recognition of our proven ability to adapt and deliver innovative global solutions to meet the specific needs of the UK market and customer" (Elbit press release, 2.2.2016)

Elbit Systems acquired Instro Precision (through the purchase of Instro Precision's owner Azimuth Technologies) in May 2010.
"On May 11, 2010, the Company's subsidiary, Elbit Security Systems Ltd. ("Elsec"), completed the acquisition of the balance of shares (81%) in Azimuth Technologies Ltd. ("Azimuth")... Azimuth and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Instro Precision Ltd., a U.K. based company, specialize in the development of military systems that provide for improved target acquisition, fire coordination, navigation and orientation."

Elbit's 2012 'Protecting those who protect us' report states that UEL (UAV Engines Ltd) and Ferranti are wholly-owned subsidiaries in the UK.
Israel tag: Elbit is an Israeli company. A 2009 report by Human Rights Watch details the killing of civilians in Gaza by drones, and stated that “'Israel's primary armed drones are the Hermes, produced by the Israeli company Elbit Systems Ltd., and the Heron, produced by Israeli Aerospace Industries”.
UAV Engines Ltd provides the engines for the UK's Watchkeeper UAVs. Watchkeepers are based on the Elbit 450 Hermes tactical UAV.
